Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Driv app, published by Stian Karlsen ("we", "us"). By using Driv, you agree to them.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

1. The service

Driv is a training app for strength and hypertrophy. It helps you plan sessions, log your training and adjust weight and volume over time. To use Driv you sign in with a Google account and have an active subscription.

2. Subscription and free trial

3. Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically every month, and you are charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel. If we change the price, Google Play will notify you in advance, as required by Google Play's rules and applicable law.

4. Cancellation and refunds

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer in Norway, the EU or the EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase (angrerett) within 14 days, without giving a reason.

6. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use Driv. You are responsible for your Google account and what happens when you are signed in. You can delete your Driv account at any time. See Delete your account. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in Google Play first.

7. Your training data

Your training data is stored only on your phone. We don't have a copy and can't restore it if it is lost or deleted. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

8. Not medical advice

Driv provides general training suggestions. It is not medical advice and doesn't replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach. Strength training carries a risk of injury. Check with a doctor before you start if you have health problems, injuries or are unsure whether training is right for you. Use good technique, choose weights you can control, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort. You train at your own risk.

9. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app, for example by trying to get around the subscription, reverse engineering the app, or disrupting our servers.

10. Limitation of liability

Driv is provided "as is". We work to keep the app accurate and available, but we can't guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, lost training data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you before they take effect. If you keep using Driv after that, the new terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway.

If you have a complaint, contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. If we can't agree, you can get free help from Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council), or from the consumer authority in the country where you live.
