Delete your Driv account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Driv app (published by Stian Karlsen), what gets deleted and what happens to your subscription.
Delete your account in the app
- Cancel your subscription first in Google Play subscriptions. Deleting your account doesn't stop it.
- Open Driv and go to Settings. If you don't have a subscription, you'll find the same option on the subscription screen that appears when you open the app.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm that you want to delete your account.
This deletes your account and subscription record from our server, and erases all training data from your phone.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app, send us an email and we'll delete your account for you. Remember to cancel your subscription as well, since we can't do that for you. Send it to lumilinkstudio@gmail.com and include:
- The email address your account is registered with, which is the Google account you signed in with.
- That you want your Driv account deleted.
We may reply to that address to confirm the request comes from you. We delete the account within 14 days of receiving your request and send you a confirmation when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account on our server: your email address and user ID.
- Your subscription record on our server: the Google Play purchase token, status and expiry date.
- Your training data (plans, logged sets, weights, RIR, comments and settings) is only stored on your phone, never on our server. When you delete your account in the app, it is erased from the phone as well. If you request deletion by email, the data stays on your phone until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Deleted data can't be recovered.
What we keep
Nothing. Once your account is deleted, we don't keep any of your data.
Google keeps its own record of your purchases under its own privacy policy. We don't control that record.
Your subscription
Your subscription belongs to your Google Play account, so deleting your Driv account doesn't stop it. Cancel it in Google Play subscriptions or read how to cancel.
